FIBER CABLING

Fiber Cabling

With an extended Authorized founder portfolio, optical fiber cabling is carried out by taking all technical details required by end user into consideration. Experienced experts deal with this process since the structure of optical fiber cable is quite delicate. After the route that the cable will follow is determined, the cable is implemented by taking into consideration the labor quality -in line with world norms- and the optical fiber cable quantities. Since optical fiber cables are preferred for outdoor applications, all excavation works -such as breaking, dumping- are executed under the leadership of our team. All this processes are put into practice after the required equipments are obtained and customers are informed about these processes.

Patch Panel and Enclosure Termination

Sometimes wall mounted optical fiber enclosures are used and sometimes termination is executed on an optical fiber Patch panel inside the Cabinet on points where Optical fiber cable ends exist. Today optical fiber termination is done through several methods. The first method is the way of termination done by sticking optical fiber connector-called epoxy- to cable core. In this termination technique, it is required that workmanship must be professional and the optical fiber kit to be used must be in line with this work. A professional workmanship will minimize the loss of decibels in that cable and system will operate with much higher performances. The second method, on the other hand, is a termination technique called Fusion Splice. In this technique, a short length of fiber cable (Single core) with a fiber connector at one end – called pigtail- is spliced to the deployed cable by means of a device. Inside the enclosure which is called Fusion Splice, the cores are spliced to each other without any human touch.

Test

Optical fiber cable is tested with the use of tester called OTDR. A great deal of data like disconnections and dilutions on the cable, decibel loss at the end of the cable etc. can be obtained by the use of this device, and after an adjustment settled within the determined limits, test results are computerized and delivered to the customer in the form of a document at the end of the work.
